FAQ
Questions we're often asked.
What is an AI voice agent?
Software that holds a real phone conversation. It listens, asks follow-up questions, answers from what your business knows, and writes the result into your systems when the call ends—just like a human would.
How is this different from an answering service?
An answering service takes a message. Eddie does the job: pulls the details, checks the calendar, books the slot, updates the record. Nobody has to call back.
Will callers know they're talking to AI?
Eddie says so if asked, and we recommend saying it upfront. In practice most callers care that the phone got answered and the booking happened.
Can Eddie book into our calendar?
Yes. Eddie connects to the calendar and the systems you already use.
What happens when Eddie can't handle a call?
He hands off. We set the rules during setup for what gets escalated, to whom, and how fast.
Which languages does Eddie speak?
Almost any human language, and he can switch languages mid-call. We tune the set to your callers during setup.
How long does setup take?
Pilot config takes 1-3 days. The pilot runs on one use case, on real calls, and you get a date for it before we start. Setup after that tunes Eddie to your scripts, systems, and edge cases.
What does Eddie cost?
Pilot and setup are fixed price. After that it's a subscription that covers keeping Eddie running, plus the deployment and AI bills.
Can Eddie replace our phone system?
He can front it. Give Eddie enough jobs and he becomes the first thing callers reach, with your team behind him for whatever he escalates.
Do you work with businesses in Maine?
