What do we do

Enabled Minds is an AI consulting firm with an office in Portland, Maine. We find the workflows eating the most hours, put AI on them, and count what comes back. We also rebuild software around what AI can now do, and train your team to work the new way. Fixed price, maintained after launch.

Services

We don't build a bigger version of the old way.

Pick where it hurts and see what we'd do to help.

Workflow automation

Somebody is retyping data right now.

We map the process, automate the busywork, and count the hours it hands back.

We map the savings first, so the payoff is on paper before you commit to a build.

Working with us

For owners who want it as much as we do.

You're hiring a sparring partner, not a vendor who nods along. Here's what that looks like.

The Enabled Minds team at work
01

The math comes first.

Before you commit to a build, we map your workflows and show what the change should save. That's our Opportunity & Proof Sprint.

02

You'll hear the bad news from us.

If the numbers look weak, we say so—then point at a better target, before you've spent anything serious.

03

Expect pushback.

We won't nod along when we think a plan is weak. Good work needs an argument or two.

04

Your team comes along.

New tools fail when the team hates them. We build on tools they already use and train them—resistance disappears along with the busywork.

Why us

We caught this wave early—and never got off.

We've built with generative AI since it went mainstream. See the AI-first solutions that run in production today.

FAQ

Questions we're often asked.

What does an AI consulting firm actually do?

Ours starts with your process rather than a tool. We look at where your team's hours go, work out what today's AI can take over, and build that. Sometimes it's an automation between two systems you already run, sometimes a voice agent on the phone. Sometimes the answer is training and no new software at all.

Do you work with companies in Maine?

Yes. Most of the companies we've built for are Maine businesses. We meet in Portland when it helps and work remotely the rest of the time.

What does AI consulting cost?

Every engagement is fixed price, agreed before we start. The first two calls are free. The Opportunity & Proof Sprint that follows is a fixed price for about a week of work, and nothing bigger starts until you've seen the numbers.

How do we know AI will work for a business like ours?

You don't yet, and neither do we. That's what the Opportunity Sprint is for: we map three workflows, put numbers on what automating them should save, and build proofs of concept on the riskiest parts. If the math looks weak, you'll hear it from us first.

Will our team actually use it?

Adoption is part of the build. We work inside the tools your people already use, train them on the result, and stay on maintenance. A tool nobody uses is a failed project by our own math.

Do we need technical people on our side?

No. Most of what we build runs for operations teams: inboxes, spreadsheets, documents, phones. We have a separate training track for developers if you have a dev team that wants it.
